Questions I’m guessing you’d ask

Purchasing via eBay

Why am I selling through eBay?

Because nicheshit.au is incredibly low budget (out of my own pocket, so basically zero budget) and because the payment security is already set up through eBay, the only fees are through them and not with me. So it’s for everyone’s safety. I don’t have any business deals with them, nor any sponsorship with anyone else. It’s just easier that way.

Postage and Handling

Where and how do you send?

To keep the costs as low as possible, for example, single / double disc products that weigh less than 200g get some bubble wrap for inside the casing, wrapped in cling wrap a few times, and mailed in a pre-paid Australia Post letter envelope. If you are purchasing more than one item, I still give the product(s) the same treatment, but put in a larger padded satchel or parcel that suits the stock and size. I try and send your item within 48 hours of purchase, unless it’s the weekend. Either way, I will send you a message via eBay if there is any delays, as well as provide a tracking number if Australia Post provide one with your purchase. The pre-paid envelope I mentioned above, does not come with tracking.

For now, I only post Australia wide. If you are overseas, I am trying to calculate if there is any taxes that need to be paid, depending on your country. If you really want the product, contact me via e-mail, as you will have to pay for any postage and processing fees.

Faulty stuff

What happens if I am not happy with the condition of the item or it doesn’t work?

Even though the eBay store says “no refunds”, of course you are entitled to a refund. Reach out to me via e-mail first so we can chat and sort the situation out for you.
I’ll be disappointed if something is faulty for you, because that means it fell through the cracks of my strict process. I try to be as detailed as possible with the quality of the product, and I really do test out each item to make sure I would keep it for my own collection. That’s how dedicated I am to it. This is currently a one person operation.
If you can’t play something on your device, I would highly recommend cleaning your device itself. Otherwise, I would suggest investing in a multi-zone / region-free DVD / Blu-ray player, like from the Australian owned LASER company. It may look flimsy, but I love this product. This is not sponsored – I truly love this unit. Budget friendly too!
